Absolutely! I love to capture some photos of your whole family including your pets. I just ask that you take full responsibility for them, especially around young children and newborns.

My #1 tip: wear what makes you feel comfortable and confident because, Mamas, you are the star of the shoot! I recommend choosing your outfit first, then coordinating your family’s looks around it. If you’re rocking a bold color like mustard yellow or denim blue, pair it with neutrals or soft complementary tones. Neutrals are your best friend, so use them often!

For outdoor sessions, I prefer to shoot 1-2 hours before sunset when the light is best and most flattering. Midday light can be harsh, but I’m happy to be flexible if an earlier time works better for your family. In that case, we’ll choose a location with plenty of shade and a beautiful backdrop.
For indoor sessions, I prefer late morning around 10 am, because that is when homes are usually lit up the best. 

We’ll work together to find the best setting for your session, whether that’s an in-home shoot or one of the many beautiful outdoor spots across the San Francisco Peninsula. I’m happy to recommend my favorite local gems or explore a new location that reflects your family’s style. 
For newborn sessions, we’ll always shoot in the comfort of your home, using the areas with the best natural light to guide our setup.

Family sessions are meant to be relaxed, playful, and full of movement. I don’t expect children to sit still or pose perfectly. Instead, we focus on fun, laughter, and genuine connection, capturing your child just as they are. Some of the best photos happen when kids are running, exploring, or even being a little silly! 
I will guide the session, encouraging natural moments without ever asking your child to do anything they’re not comfortable with. 
To help things go smoothly, be sure your little one is well-rested and has had some snacks and water. Letting your child know ahead of time that a friendly photographer will be joining helps them feel more at ease from the start.

Your online gallery will be delivered within 2 weeks. Need it sooner? Add expedited 3-day turnaround for +$99.

I monitor the weather and will reach out if rain or extreme conditions are expected. Outdoor sessions will only be rescheduled for rain, as overcast or foggy skies still make for beautiful photos. If you need to reschedule due to illness or an emergency, no worries, we’ll find a new date that works, usually within a day or a few weeks. It’s always best when everyone’s feeling their best!

Absolutely! I’m happy to add headshots for $99 per person. This typically adds about 10 minutes to your session and includes 5+ fully edited images.

I typically recommend scheduling maternity sessions between 30–35 weeks, when your belly is beautifully round and you’re still comfortable enough to move with ease. However, every pregnancy is unique, and I’m happy to photograph you at any stage during your second or third trimester. As long as your baby is still on the inside, it’s never too late to document this special time.

I recommend scheduling newborn sessions within the first 5–15 days, when babies are still extra sleepy and their features are fresh. That said, I’m happy to photograph babies at any age during their first few months—every stage is beautiful and worth capturing. When booking, we’ll choose a tentative date about 7–10 days after your due date, and adjust once your baby arrives. I’m flexible and always leave room in my calendar for these special sessions.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your session date, with the remaining balance due 1 week before your session.
